Cake Batter Blondies

Be prepared for a very thick batter!

I bet you can’t eat just one!

As soon as I saw the recipe for cake batter blondies on Girl Meets Life, I just knew I had to try my hand at them. I kept her recipe the same, except for increasing the white chocolate chips to one cup. (There is no such thing as too much white chocolate for me).
The bars themselves were very tasty, but not as gooey as I would have preferred. They ended up being more of a sweet dense cake, without the “lick the batter from the bowl” texture I was hoping for. (I baked them in a dark nonstick pan and should have checked them at 25 minutes instead of 30). Regardless, the bars were delicious and between the three of us disappeared from the house within two days. The only thing I can think of to make these better is spreading a container of funfetti frosting on top.
