White Chocolate M&M Stars
Place about one teaspoon of miniature M&M’s in the bottom of the star molds.
Top the M&M’s with melted white chocolate and scrape off the excess. Chill.
Unmold the stars for a festive treat.

A few weeks ago I picked up three star silicone molds in the dollar section at Target. I wasn’t sure what I would do with them, but I did know I wanted to make something for Independence Day.
Then one day I found a forgotten bag of white chocolate wafers in the top shelf of my cabinet. I placed about a teaspoon of miniature M&M’s in the bottom of the star molds. Then I melted the white chocolate wafers and added a generous amount of blue food coloring. Next, I poured the melted chocolate over the M&M’s in the molds. Scrape off the excess chocolate, chill, and voila! You have white chocolate stars for the fourth of July holiday!

Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz. bag white chocolate wafers
  • ½ cup miniature M&M's
  • *star silicone molds
Instructions
  1. Place miniature M&M's in the bottom of the star silicone mold, leaving enough space on top to fill with chocolate.
  2. Melt the white chocolate wafers over low heat, tempering until smooth.
  3. Pour the white chocolate on top of the M&M's, filling the molds to the sides and top.
  4. When all of the stars have been filled, scrape off the excess with a knife.
  5. Refrigerate molds for 20 minutes or until set. Place molds upside down and gently tap the stars out.
