Oreo Stuffed M&M Cookies & Cream Pudding Cookies

Oreo Stuffed M&M Cookies & Cream Pudding Cookies
The easiest way to set these cookies up is:
scoop of dough on bottom, Oreo cookie in middle, scoop of dough on top.
Roll the scoops of dough around the Oreo cookie
to make sure it is covered completely.

Here are the cookies just out of the oven.

Notice the big mounds in the middle from the Oreo?

Here is a cross-section view so you can see
just how filled with deliciousness these cookies really are.

If you have been across the web, then you have probably seen numerous bloggers trying out Oreo stuffed cookies. (I first ran across a recipe on Picky Palate last year). I decided to do my own twist on these awesome creations…I used cookies and cream instant pudding mix to make the cookies nice and soft. Then I threw in a whole bag of miniature M&M’s. Next I stuffed a wonderful Oreo cookie inside, and voila! You have a soft yet chewy cookie with a magical surprise in the middle.
These cookies are the best of both worlds. Who can resist delicious candy M&M’s, bits of cookie pieces in the cookie dough batter, and a big fat Oreo stuffed right in the middle? I know I can’t!

Serves: 24
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 4.2 oz. pkg. Jello cookies & cream instant pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2&1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 12 oz. bag miniature M&M's
  • 22-24 Oreo cookies (whole)
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a stand mixer, beat together the butter, sugars, pudding mix, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Beat in the eggs until fluffy.
  3. Add the baking soda and flour, mixing on low until combined.
  4. Add the M&M's, beating on low just until combined.
  5. Using a 1&1/2 Tablespoon cookie scoop, place 12 mounds of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Top each mound with one Oreo cookie, followed by one more scoop of cookie dough. Using your hands, roll dough up around edges until entire Oreo cookie is covered with dough. Repeat with remaining cookie dough and cookies. Overall, you should have two cookie sheets for a total of 22-24 cookies, depending on size.
  6. Bake for 10-11 minutes or until set. Let cool on sheet before eating.
