Winter Oreo Fudge

If you have been reading my blog for a while, then you know that I love to come up with new and unique fudge recipes. This batch is a play on my favorite Oreo fudge. I made this homemade candy festive by incorporating Winter Oreos with red filling and some red food coloring to the fudge mixture. The end result tastes just as creamy, sweet, and Oreo-delicious as always, while the added color jazzes things up perfectly for Christmas.

Serves: 48
  • ¾ cup butter (1 & ½ sticks)
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 5 oz. can evaporated milk (3/4 cup)
  • 12 oz. white chocolatecchips (2 cups)
  • 1 heaping teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 7 oz. jar Marshmallow Creme
  • several drops red food coloring
  • 15 chopped Winter Oreos
  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, stir together butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a ROLLING boil. Boil and continue stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and immediately stir in white chips, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until mixture is smooth.
  3. Quickly stir in marshmallow creme until no lumps remain.
  4. Stir in chopped Oreos until thoroughly mixed.
  5. Pour into a greased 9×13 inch pan. Let cool four hours on shelf or almost 2 hours in refrigerator before cutting.
To make two batches at once, double all ingredients. Let mixture boil for 8 minutes. Pour fudge into two greased 9 x 13 inch pans or one greased large sheet pan.
